Welcome to NEIndianaHCHP.org...
Our mission is in accord with the HCHP Bloomington Chapter Mission:
Hoosiers for a Commonsense Health Plan (HCHP) is a group of Indiana citizens who support a publicly financed, privately delivered (single-payer) universal health plan at the state and national level. HCHP is working to educate the public and the legislature about the benefits of a single payer plan. We are seeking individuals and groups who have an interest in helping achieve this goal--please contact us if you can help!

"Health Care Reform - One Physician's Perspective"
Jonathan D. Walker, MD

at the Unitarian Universalist Meetinghouse

10:00 AM - 12 Noon
The Healthcare Crisis
For most Americans, the dominant emotion about health care reform under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, passed March 25, 2010 is confusion. According to a Kaiser Family Foundation survey, a slight plurality of Americans had an unfavorable impression of the legislation, but a slight majority opposed efforts to repeal it. Like the old Woody Allen joke about a restaurant where the food is terrible, but the portions are too small.
Please come and be our guests to hear "one physician's perspective." Dr. Walker is most knowledgeable and congenial, and looks forward to answering any and all questions.
All perspectives are welcome.
